When we removed the panel in the hall, it turned out that the previous owner laid the floor after it was installed. This has created a large gap between the floor and the wall. Therefore, we need to put 13mm plasterboard on the wall. My question: How do you handle the electrical outlets? Can they be moved out? What's the best way to measure holes in the plasterboard for the outlets?

There is a type of tool that you insert into the electrical box with a spike... then you place it against the drywall and you get a mark in it that you can drill after. There is also one that is magnetic (I believe).
The electrical outlets can be moved out with the help of longer screws and a spacer ring for the box.
I believe you should mark the drywall with empty electrical boxes and not with cables in.

Preferably the magnetic holefinder, but otherwise you can manage it as follows...

* Pull the screws in the box out a bit
* Put ink on the heads
* Press the gypsum board against them.
* Turn so that the screws have rotated 90 degrees and repeat the above.
Then I assume you know what to do with the markings?

Borrow/buy "hole in one" (magnetic), one part is placed in the box (with/without wires in) and the finder is moved outside the plate, when the finder comes in front of the unit in the box, the finder attaches, then just drill with the hole saw.

If you have a cross laser at home, fix it in the center of the hole, then just mount the disc and drill... If you've kicked the laser, it won't look good though ;)

Holefinder is a good suggestion :)

If you buy a hole saw, which is good to have when you need to drill into the drywall, it comes with a plastic piece that you can place in the box. This plastic piece has a clear center. I measured to this center and transferred the measurement to the drywall and drilled. So I didn’t need to lift the board beforehand, like with other methods. Worked fine for me.

There are distance rings to put in the boxes so that they reach out to the new level.
