Hi,
Today I was at an expo for houses, etc.
An exhibitor showed an MDF board that had been milled to create a fall. They did this according to ordered measurements for the floor drain.
He claimed it was sufficiently dimensionally stable to reinforce the floor. According to him, Folksam has approved this solution and advocates it for moisture damage repairs.
You just need to prime and apply the waterproofing as usual.
Anyone with experience??

A friend bought/built SMÅA row houses 7-8 years ago. Routed MDF was used in the wet room on the upper floor. The board had the same dimensions as the wet room overall. That is, it was a heavy clunker. There is a plastic mat on it and I have not heard that there should be any problems with it.
