You probably need fireproof bricks for the chimney
Have you considered a block chimney type Isokaern that you can place flush against the glulam beam if the fireplace's flue gas temperature does not exceed 350 degrees and with a 50 mm ventilated space if the flue gas temperature is between 350 and 450 degrees?
The temperature is stated in the fireplace's type approval certificate (if it is certified), otherwise, you should probably assume 450 degrees.
If you are going to build a chimney with bricks, you must have 100 mm ventilated space between the beam and the outer side of the chimney.
