Hello
Can anyone answer what materials can be used behind a stove? I want something that doesn't emit when it gets hot. What's safe from that perspective? I probably need to paint there, so what wall paint should be used that doesn't emit heat? It gets warm after a few hours of burning, but it is at the recommended distance.

Will place a sheet behind but for the next problem, the opening to the room will come close to the stove, and is there any filler that withstands heat so we can fill the opening, or is there another solution for what to do with the opening to the other room? Want to avoid moldings, etc.
We used fireproof wall boards 50 mm (calcium silicate) to make the walls behind and on the sides of the stove non-combustible. They can be hard to find for a reasonable price, but the cheapest we found was at Eldabutiken (1500kr each).E Ellinor Hellquist80 said:Hi

We will tile directly onto the fireproof boards. From what I've gathered, you can use regular tile glue/mortar.
