Masonry + timber frame meet, how to do?

We are building a garage on our sloped plot where the interior wall (backside) will be backfilled almost all the way up. The other three sides have no contact with the ground (due to retaining walls and other factors).

It is difficult to find masons with enough time for me, and I am now considering only building the back wall and a small corner angle, maybe 120cm in, instead of all four walls, just to make the wall feel sturdier.

But how do you deal with the wooden beam (where the wooden frame begins) that presumably sits closely against the masonry?
Do you cut a piece of paper to put in between? The masonry material is leca (with the necessary amount of joints and rendering in connection to the wooden frame).

You use syllpapp or similar just as if you were building directly on the concrete slab.

I built my garage in about the same style, though I only have 4 layers of leca at the back.
