Does anyone know anything about Masonite beams, I mean lightweight beams? Besides being easy to build with? I'm mostly thinking about durability and indoor environment (if there are a lot of emissions due to the glue in the masonite). We are considering building a house with lightweight beams. Feel free to provide input!

Building with it right now and what you need to keep in mind is that there are special beam hangers and it may need to be adjusted with thin strips of plyfa to get the right heights if you, for example, have glulam or regular joists somewhere.

Emissions are probably more than in regular wood but they are used in houses built according to Basta and Sunda hus so I'm not worried.

I think it's the ones Villavarm builds with.
Check with them!
I was close to building with them, but it ended up being a locally site-built house instead.
