Hello Wagneta here....
Happy as a clam, I went out to the barn to cut the ceiling moldings. Bah, completely blank!!!
How do you do it???? :wow:
Can you show with pictures how to place the coving in the miter saw, please thank you.
Imagine that the back fence is the wall. Adjust by rotating the saw, not by tilting.
Mark on a short piece which side you lay down and which stands up, then write right/left on it, set the saw at 45 degrees with the handle to the right. Saw straight then a bit away and write right/right on the new piece. Do the same with the next piece but now write left/left and set the saw 45 degrees to the left. And so on. Now you can go in and stand in a corner and see how the pieces should be sawn to get the corner right. If you're making an outer corner, use the left/right and right/left pieces. For inner corners, use the right/right and left/left pieces.Wagneta said:
