I've heard from the neighbors at our new construction that the timber and asfa board have been outside since Friday, without tarpaulin.
It has been raining a lot here on the west coast and my question is of course: How does this affect the timber?? Will it be able to dry properly, considering they are supposed to finish building the outer walls and put on the roof within a two-week period? What will be the consequences if it doesn't dry properly? How serious is this really?
I have naturally imagined the worst-case scenario... but maybe I am overreacting? I hope so... :-/
Very grateful for a response during the day, as I am going up to have a word with the carpenter this evening...
