Here's the situation.
I have a SM-villa from 06, and the light in the bathroom is, to say the least, dreary, with a large lamp in the middle. So now I want to install spotlights; I can make holes in the ceiling and run wires, no problem, BUT it's also the case that the tile border in the bathroom wasn't set quite where I wanted it, and lowering the ceiling by about 10 cm would make me happy. Additionally, it should be much easier to install the spotlights. (This thing with the border has annoyed me since moving in, every bathroom visit!)

I'm looking for one of those ceiling types you see in public restrooms, like rails hanging with wires from the ceiling in a grid pattern, and in between some type of plastic panels with a hard underside and a slightly softer top side, about 50*50 cm.
What are these ceilings called?!?! And where can you buy them?

Search for "undertak" and you will get hits on this. There are many different variants and sometimes they are also referred to as acoustic ceilings. I installed Ecophon in our bathroom and it is available as a website on the internet under that name.
