I am trying to fix the walls in my small garage from '59. The garage extends a few meters from the main house and the part that is an outer wall is made of 20 cm concrete blocks according to the building description. The part that is an inner wall has some sort of porous blocks (blåbetong) and they are only 8 cm thick. Where they meet, there is a significant crack and a section about 20 cm is completely loose and wobbles when you touch it. I have removed as much of the loose material as I dare, and now you can see the wooden shelf paneling on the other side. Is it possible to repair this so it feels stable?
I'm wondering if it's possible to anchor the loose blocks in the concrete wall somehow. Chisel away the joint, 5-10 cm, and maybe insert some thinner rebar and chemical anchors?
