Hello!
I've got a pair of window locks: assa 2820. My problem is that the screws I've received are some special variant without cross slots, etc. What do I need to be able to screw them in?

Best regards

A trace screwdriver is a one-way screw and can only be screwed in. Test with regular screws that everything works before you screw in the one-way screw, so you know that everything fits and works.

It's boring to remove them later, I usually use regular screws unless it's a place with insurance that requires them. More likely the thief will choose another way regardless of the screws, so it feels unnecessarily complicated.

Okay! Thanks for the answers!
No, it's hardly likely that the thief would go to that trouble :)
but at least now I know what it's called and what it is anyway! :)
