Hi, sorry maybe a silly question, but I'm looking at a house (where there is NO snow) with a flat roof designed for 2kN/m2 "spread load". I want to put some furniture and a grill there, etc. Can one assume that this means the roof can support 2kN load on all square meters at the same time? I would think it should be that way, it seems pointless to specify a maximum load per square meter if it doesn't apply to all square meters simultaneously. Or am I thinking wrong?

It applies to the entire roof and you can translate it to 200kg per sqm, the same standard that applies in Sweden for regular floor joists.
