You mean if we want to have bedrooms up there in the future? They didn't mention anything in the building permit about needing additional support in that space in the future.

So I don't completely understand. We're supposed to build over the hole in the roof, it shouldn't be like that. It's the previous owner's idea to open it up. Not energy smart in any way
