The question is how do I create a firm connection to the ceiling of the upper floor, how do I finish against the floor structure?

Then a wooden wall plate if it fits. Support underneath with pieces of wood or hardboard until you reach the appropriate height. Lift slightly with a crowbar when placing underneath.

Lifted the floor joist a bit with a prop and then cast with some fine concrete.... /ATW ps would probably work with glue and wedges too... ds
