Hi, I need advice on whether a wall is load-bearing or not.
Bought a cabin from 1956 and plan to open up a wall 5 meters wide. Everyone who has seen it has said that it's load-bearing.
I took down one side of the panel, but the studs do not go all the way up. The wall runs all the way through the cabin.
Both sides of the wall are nailed with thick paneling and double drywall on the outside. The cabin wasn't built on-site but was moved there.
I need advice and tips.

An exposed wooden wall with partially removed paneling and visible studs in a 1956 cabin, showing scattered debris on the floor.

Is it the long side or the gable?

Blueprint/sketch of the cabin?

Opening at 5m is a significant procedure. There, you need more substance, and bring out the plans; if you lack any, you can check with the municipality.

Inner wall in the middle longitudinally.
Only part of the wall has been demolished for inspection.

What do the trusses look like? Are they self-supporting?
What is the span between the outer walls?
What does it look like right up at the roof? Is there a longitudinal beam?

Attic interior with wooden beams and insulation materials scattered on the floor, no visible longitudinal beam in the structure.
8 meters
Cannot see any longitudinal beam.
Wooden beams inside a wall structure with insulation visible, missing any visible longitudinal beam.
