Hello!
I am in the process of restoring a furnished room that was once a garage, which it will become again. Now it's a bare surface that I thought I would tidy up.
For the interior walls, I considered either painting directly or gluing drywall. But is it safe to glue drywall directly to the exterior wall considering potential moisture migration?
The exterior walls consist of lightweight concrete with an air gap and then a brick façade. It is above ground with a cast slab.
I really don't feel like plastering as the room is large, has high ceilings, and I'm a lazy ass. What's the best compromise between time and money investment? It will be used as a garage so the requirements are not that high, as I said I can imagine painting directly on a plastered surface.
