Lifting a stove?

I am in the middle of a major renovation and have a task ahead of me that is giving me a bit of a headache. How would you handle this?

I'm going to renovate the floor structure and remove the parquet, underlying floor chipboard and inspect the beams before laying new chipboard and new flooring. There is a basement beneath the room.

What do you think, should I try to free up the chimney a bit and somehow lift the stove, or do I have to dismantle the whole damn chimney (top-mounted module) starting from the outer roof and completely remove the stove?

Reasonably, you have to lift the chimney a bit to get the stove out of the way. It is not clear from the picture either how long the chimney is or if it is attached anywhere. I would try to lift the chimney a bit and secure it with ropes, supports, or whatever is required. Then move the stove out of the room to access it properly.

I don't know how those modular chimneys are fastened; I'm afraid they rest on the stove...
It would be nice to avoid dismantling the entire chimney, but the modules are stacked on each other, so the risk is that I'll have to take the whole thing down.

I'll try as you suggest. I'll check if the chimney is free-standing, as one option is to "lower" the stove since I'm tearing down the joists anyway.
