A sunroom has been constructed with prefabricated parts and the construction was carried out by a construction company. Subsequently, it turns out that the deck floor is 2 cm higher than the interior floor, causing issues when the glass company was to install a patio door. The frame and walls are in place with anchorage in the house wall, which resulted in physical problems when setting the door in place. We engaged an inspector during the work because there were several major errors from the company, and it apparently did not end there, as it turns out now. During the inspection, I expressed a desire for the inspector to double-check for any possible level differences as I had other issues fresh in mind; however, he declined and referred to the company for checking measurements. We intend to file a complaint but I am unsure about the responsibility here - the craftsman or the inspector. Should we accept the level difference without filing a complaint?
