Hello,
I have a small section of flooring that needs to be torn up, tidied up, and re-framed as it's wooden joists directly on an uninsulated slab. What should I use instead, is some type of underlayment enough before placing wooden joists again, or? Tips from experts are gratefully received. This will not be a permanent solution but for a few years until I have the energy to do the big job (there are other things before this).
