Hello!

I've been searching online for masonry blocks with dimensions approximately:

width 15cm
length 59cm
height 4-5 cm.

What seems unusual is the height.

I'm planning to build a small base under the interior walls for a small laundry room in a garage. The idea is to have masonry blocks around the laundry room with dimensions 15*59*19. But I plan to install a sliding door that should be able to run into the wall, so I want a masonry block that is as high as the threshold, i.e., 4-5cm. So one to one and a half blocks would probably be enough.

What do you think, are these available? Byggmax seems to only have one that's 9cm, maybe the solution is to work on one of those with an angle grinder?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Fredrik

why not cast a klack?

Hello!

Not a bad idea, it should just be to build a form 4.5 cm high and fill it with self-made mortar.
Do you think it needs reinforcement?

Best regards,
Fredrik

Should be significantly less work to cut the blocks in height than to cast!

Hello!

But maybe just under the part where I need it to be lower to make room for the sliding door, it's probably not a bad idea.

The rest might be quicker to brick.

Brick will probably be 3-4m and casting about 90cm.

Best regards,
Fredrik
