I am extending my house by about 4.5 m 1.5 stories. Over the upper floor by the ridge, I have made a low-pitched roof as a terrace. I am now considering installing a lawn there. It might be a bit far-fetched, but I think it would be pretty cool. Now I'm thinking about what is required in terms of weight, water, and moisture, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey! How did the project go? I'm considering extending our lawn that ends on a slope. Instead of filling it up, I want to build a terrace and lay grass on it. I'll probably have to put up walls too as protection against the cold. And then you almost get a root cellar as a bonus. It's winter cold, drainage & enough soil so that you don't have to water every day that's important to consider.
