Hi, I have a room that is 6000x8000, so I was thinking of placing a glulam beam that is 115x495 in the middle of the room, then 45x220x4000 from the outer wall where they sit in beam hangers to the glulam beam where I also attach them with beam hangers, what do you think, is it too weak or will it work?
Upstairs it will become a kitchen exhibition!

Spontaneously, I would say that I wouldn't dare to place the glulam in a post shoe. There, you would want to notch in, or have a post underneath.
It's just a few anchor screws expected to hold everything together, or am I misunderstanding?

I built our entire sunroom with hidden screws, type ET-T from Essve. Glulam beams 115x420 where glulam beams 57x270 were screwed with ET-T screws. https://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/essve/videos/essve-konstruktionsskruv-et-t-12015
Very nice, no visible fastenings! Check out the ESSVE website. https://www.essve.com/sv/produkter/...sskruv/et-t/konstruktionsskruv-et-t-corrseal/
