Is this blue-marked wall load-bearing? I was thinking of tearing it down to get a bigger kitchen, but I got a bit puzzled when looking at the drawing and the red-marked steel beam...
Could the house be built without the red-marked beam or does *) just mean that it's in place but wasn't included in Sv Stenhus AB's delivery and was fixed by another contractor?
Grateful for a little help as I'm quite new to renovating...

Why would it be specifically noted on the drawing that a steel beam is not included IF it is included? Isn't there a big risk that they instead settled on the fact that the wall you are asking about is load-bearing and therefore didn't include a steel beam?
Assuming the floor joists on the upper floor run along the gables, there should be a beam according to the plan. If the "blue" wall were load-bearing, the span would be almost 5.5m, which is quite a bit.
Is it not possible to remove a ceiling molding and drill a hole to ensure there is a beam?
