I've hired a sheet metal worker to install a metal roof on the patio that connects to the facade.

I see now that the sheet metal worker hasn't pulled up the sheet "classically" with a 10-20 cm "uplift" up against the facade or behind the panel, but chose a different method.

Is this also an approved method?

  • Sketch of a metal roof installation showing a side view with labeled components, including roof, panel, and edges, indicating an alternative method used.
  • Ruler measuring height of metal roofing by facade with snow; showcases roofing technique without classic 10-20cm uplift, questioning if this method is approved.
  • Close-up of a hand inspecting metal roofing installation on a facade, highlighting where the flashing meets the wall without traditional overlap.

What have you agreed on?
If the sheet needs to go up further, then the panel has to be removed.
