Planning to build a bathroom on the upper floor of a house from 1916. 9 sqm, 3x3 m. Previously, it was just a hallway with mostly foot traffic. Second floor of the house. The house has a total of 4 floors with a basement and an attic that can be furnished.
CC 62 cm, 70x200 with a length of 4.4m. The large beam to the left of the balcony door is 100x220.
Fully tiled bathroom with 60x60 tiles, glued and screwed floor particle boards, reinforcement, waterborne underfloor heating 12 mm, self-leveling compound.
No dimensions currently in use, but I understand it might be borderline when I’ve checked the wood guide online, or?
Will only have one hole for the toilet drain and then mostly holes for 50 pipes, one or two in each frame. Reinforcing with plywood and noggin.
Should I tear up the remaining part of the floor and frame it cc30? Or is this joist frame sufficient?
