In connection with digging for a new patio, I thought I'd take the opportunity to replace the drainage pipes on one side of the house. Around the house, there is currently a blue-green drainage hose about 90mm in diameter. Now I need eight meters of new hose or pipe, and it seems like hose in the 93mm dimension must be bought in large rolls for a lot of money. I see that Byggmax sells 4m pipes for 100 SEK, but the catch is that they have a diameter of 110mm. I think it should work to mix these types, but I would like some more opinions. I plan to solve the joint from 110 to 93 by slitting the 110 pipe, squeezing it together, and inserting it into the 93. It doesn't need to be watertight. Do you think it will work? The house was built in 1970 and has a slab and is on clay.

Yes, pipes are always preferable. It's much easier to achieve the slope with pipes. Whether you can splice the hose I don't know..

The tip here is to go to k-rauta, which has 10-meter 93 mm hoses in their assortment.

Working on similar problem-solving. Byggmax drainage items are significantly cheaper than others. I found rubber seals at Bauhaus that fit this combination.
