is it allowed? - carbon filter fan and ventilation
Unfortunately, no pictures as we've moved, but it's quite similar to your first picture with no tall cabinet to the right and a slightly better distance between the "chimney" and ventilation (which I moved as it would otherwise have ended up halfway behind the chimney), I think we had about 20cm.Saraaviktoria said:
As I mentioned, we got poor performance from a recirculating fan because the tall cabinet next to it directed the air down so that it surged over the stove and blew steam and smoke into the apartment. So having a fan outlet on the side where there is also a tall cabinet is a bad idea.
If you ignore complicating things with what applied when the residence was built, renovated, or what the housing association requires, there should be an exhaust vent near a carbon filter fan; the principle is to evacuate some of the air that is circulated and purified by the carbon filter fan. As long as you can ensure the functionality, you can conceal the ventilation unit. What the thread creator has built is a prime example of how one could do it.

Is that a celebrated 40331908 kitchen fan you have?
We are going to install one but I can't find any description of where the electrical outlet can be if you're using a carbon filter as you seem to be doing?
Do you have the possibility to show where the electrical outlet is on yours?
Thanks!
A temporary solution that could certainly be made nicer. See image
Yes, exactly a celebrated fan.
