I understand that you don't always need to hire a structural engineer even for villa constructions if it's a "standard solution." However, I don't know if our upcoming villa is a standard solution. It is 7*13 m internally in 1.5 stories with a basement. From what I understand, it will have A-roof trusses and a need for a load-bearing interior wall in the longitudinal direction and approximately in the middle. In the basement, there are no issues, I assume it's okay to build with masonry blocks, etc. The floors are not going to be open up to the ridge, except for by the staircase, of course. On the upper floor, we want to be without a load-bearing wall in the middle 4 meters, and on floor 1, there will only be small sections by the chimneys (2 symmetrically placed), the staircase, and along a bathroom wall. In total, you could say there are two sections of 2-3 m placed at 1/3 and 2/3 of the house's length.
Is there anyone here who takes on such projects, is it worth sending a request for quotation on this?
