A quick question!
I am dividing a room into two smaller rooms. I have put up studs and now I will put up OSB boards with thin renovation plasterboard on top. Someone told me that you should always leave a certain gap between the floor and the bottom edge of the board. Does this apply to both the OSB board and the plasterboard, or is it enough to do it for the plasterboard?
The OSB board is 11 mm.
The plasterboard is 6 mm.

As the drywall is only 6mm, you should leave gaps on both the OSB and drywall. When I put up a partition wall myself, I used OSB + regular 12mm drywall, but still left gaps on both boards. It's good if you're laying new flooring that needs to expand or if you want to run, for example, network/antenna cables behind the baseboard.
Between OSB boards, it's good to have a gap because OSB boards expand/contract depending on the humidity level in the air, and if you're unlucky, you can end up with a bulging wall.
