Insulation

I have a question about insulation. I've heard that 5 cm of Styrofoam insulates as much as 10 cm of regular insulation. I've been considering insulating the house from the inside and wondered if 5 cm of Styrofoam could work. Avoid having to frame and so on. Am I completely off track, or does someone have advice?

That is not true. Cellplast usually has approximately the same insulation value as better mineral wool insulation.
