If you don’t plan to heat it, I find it hard to see the point of insulating it. Possibly, it could slightly reduce the temperature in the summer if that's a problem. The insulation merely makes the storage area equilibrate more slowly with its surroundings, but if no heat is added, it will, sooner or later, still reach the outdoor temperature.
However, I would insulate it anyway or at least prepare to make it easy to do so. This is because maybe in a few years, you'll find you need to keep it frost-free inside (e.g., for storing paint, chemical products, etc.).
