We have bought a log house with a basement and the facade is made of Eternit. The villa is about 200 sqm and the heating is geothermal with FTX ventilation.

The "middle floor" is completed, where we insulated by removing the cork insulation to the logs. We installed an open "vapor barrier" that stops wind but not moisture. Then 45mm fiberglass ply + plasterboard.

So in cross-section, the wall consists of the following.
Eternit (painted) -> old wooden facade with battens -> log approx. 8cm -> vapor barrier -> 45mm fiberglass -> ply + plasterboard.

Now to my question.
The previous owners did the following on the upper floor.
Cork -> plastic (impermeable) -> 90mm fiberglass -> plasterboard.

Could I have problems with this construction?

Is the cork on the inside and the gypsum on the outside? No timber?
 
No, sorry, it was a bit poorly explained.

Eternit, facade, timber, cork, plastic, glass wool, gypsum.
 
The plastic should be on the warm side. Or at least a maximum of 1/3 in terms of the different materials' insulation value. So the construction you have is neither good nor approved...
 
I almost thought so...

I have now torn down a wall on the upper floor, but this one was only "insulated" with cork. I will attach a picture, but you can see that there has been moisture right at the ceiling. They've used plastic in the ceiling, should one perhaps use a diffusion-open membrane in the ceiling instead?

feels like it results in a lot of mold in the attic?

The plastic itself is not a problem, but if it is on the wrong side of the insulation, condensation can form.
