Hello.

We live in a fairly drafty and cold house built in 1905. The exterior walls from the inside consist of masonite, tretex, horizontal 1" boards, studs/joists about 90 mm, sawdust in some places, original facade panel, 45#45 joist insulation, wind barrier, vertical panel.

So the question is whether to tear away the masonite, tretex, and boards to the joist itself and insulate with a 95 stone wool board, then wind barrier, OSB board.

Could this pose a risk of moisture? In the wall?
