I have a newly built house with a cold storage room.
The problem with the storage room is that it is not insulated. It's difficult to organize and store items that are delicate to freezing temperatures and moisture.

I would like to insulate the storage room and install a radiator to keep it warm at about 5-10°C.
I don't want to risk things getting damaged or freezing (like paint, clothes, etc.).

The storage room is built on a concrete slab with wooden walls and a wooden ceiling.
It's framed along the walls on the inside.

How exactly do I go about insulating this?
I'm not super knowledgeable but would like to try doing it myself.
Any tips or a step-by-step list would be great! :)
Thank you in advance.

Do you have photos, both from the outside and inside, as it makes it easier to start somewhere with tips. There are so many solutions that are of the type: "it depends..."

Hello! Thanks for the response. I'll try, but it's a bit difficult; the storage is filled to the brim, so I can't even get into the entrance. I'll get back to you; I need to take pictures during the day.

Side view of a small wooden shed with a closed white door, surrounded by potted plants and garden tools, seen in an outdoor setting. A cluttered storage shelf filled with various boxes and plastic bins, including a box labeled "Zalando" and a plastic container with a "Tacx" logo. Cluttered storage room with tools, yellow bags, tangled string, and a bicycle wheel. Thanks so much for the tips! I managed to take some pictures, although you can't see inside very well as it's filled to the brim. :))

Keep in mind that no matter how you insulate this, you must ensure that air can circulate freely. Otherwise, it won’t be +10 throughout your entire storage.

The walls seem to be prepared, but the ceiling can be more complicated since there must be a functioning air gap.
