Installing windows with foam sealant?!
I skimmed all my Elitfönster when I replaced them almost 15 years ago. Everything is tight, fits perfectly, and nothing warped. I placed the windows on double wooden wedges, one from each direction for adjustment. When everything was level, I secured them with frame screws, checked the cross measurement and the level again, adjusted if necessary. Then I foamed from the inside with the entire gap open, but everything on the outside of the facade was in place, so the foam could expand inward. I then cut away the excess foam with a Mora knife and sealed. Absolutely tight, no problems of any kind.
I used regular sealant foam, not low-expanding.
