I am going to attach a shelf to a drywall and have bought drywall anchors with corresponding screws. I am a bit uncertain about how to install it. I've tried a screw and it goes in very slowly into the anchor. I'm a bit concerned that it might start slipping in the drywall.
Has anyone used this? Biltema's item number is 81-536.

I'm not sure if it's Biltema's I've tried before, but aren't they usually hard to insert. Are you sure drywall anchors will still hold for the shelf?

It is about 1200 mm long and will have three supports with two attachment points in each. Will have some baskets with mittens etc., so pretty light stuff. If there are issues, maybe I can reinforce the hole a bit.

I would probably go for mollyplugg, or another expander plug instead. You don't want a shelf to fall on your head.

Would probably have preferred to use Molly.
There is often more load on a shelf than one might think.
I don't know what the supports look like, but usually it's just one of two anchoring points that bears almost all the load.

I have tested these once. Worst invention ever. When they start to slip or become a bit loose, and you think, I'll just tighten them a little. Then you get a crater. Avoid!

It seems to be a very fine thread on the screws that are sent with it, so are you sure it is the original you have? It has happened that I found a loose anchor and tried with a regular screw like for a plug, and then it was impossible after half the screw. But try with another one in the bag, it might just be one that got a hit.

Take blue duomax with 75mm screw - easy to work with, doesn't slip and is easy to remove
