living in a one-story house from Älvsbyhus with a cold attic. Since we have limited space in the house, we are considering using the attic for storing some non-delicate items.
There is a lot of insulation in the ceiling and about 50cm between the ceiling and the roof truss.
I have been considering how to install an attic hatch since there is nothing obvious to attach it to. Therefore, I thought of building a type of frame to attach the hatch to. In the sketch, I also included some extra beams to build a light staircase to reach the top.
Would it work according to my sketch if the beams are 45x120?
It should be noted that the distance between the roof trusses where it is intended to be is on cc800mm.
Is this possible to do?
