I live in a 1.5-story house with a finished upper floor that I am now planning to renovate. Since it lacks a vapor barrier, the first priority is to install one. The upper floor consists of two rooms and a bathroom. So there are a few interior walls that complicate the installation. How do I best handle the plastic seams with the interior walls? It's a bit tricky to wrap the ceiling "above" the wall ...

All tips and cheers are appreciated!

Fold down the plastic on the inner wall and tape securely to the existing wall covering, at least 20 cm, then apply new wall covering. I believe the air that passes through the inner wall and then up to the attic insulation and condenses is minimal. If you have wooden studs as spacers, it is difficult for air to pass through them. But if you assess that it might occur, drill holes in the wall at appropriate places and inject foam as a complement to the plastic.
