Hello!

New homeowner and general beginner here.

I've understood that I should install insect nets and rodent meshes in the eaves and under the facade to keep various "houseguests" out (I have wasp nests in the attic, and believe I heard the first mice of the fall in the attic this weekend).

Anyone have tips on what I should use and how I should install it?

I've looked at insect nets, rodent meshes / metal mesh, and "rodent stop" steel wool for smaller holes. I also looked at "mouse tape" but I'm not sure if it can be mounted in any practical way afterwards?

This is what the eaves look like:
Eaves view showing roofing material, wooden board beneath with visible gap potentially for insect or rodent barriers, against a backdrop of trees.

and this is what it looks like under the facade:

The house is on stilts.

Is this a good idea? What's the best way to attach nets given the images above?

Grateful for any advice and tips!
