Inspection hatch for flue

I have a fireplace type cassette located on the lower floor of my house. During a fire inspection (the first we've had in 10 years), the chimney sweep said we need to install a hatch so that they can inspect the pipe inside (stainless steel) on the upper floor, which has always been behind drywall that I suspect is specially made for this type of pipe. Has anyone installed such a hatch?

You must ensure that your fireplace installation is safe and built according to legal requirements and the regulations of the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. The chimney sweeper is responsible for being able to inspect this. ALL serious actors use an inspection camera for the smoke channel. Or does he mean being able to inspect the smoke channel inside the shaft, i.e., the insulation of the smoke pipe?
