I have a chimney that is not approved. I am thinking of installing an insert (pipe) in the chimney and insulating with vermiculite. I have found a so-called "package deal" that I can buy from www.soliduct.se.
Is it difficult to install by myself? I am not super skilled in construction but I can do some things.
What would it cost if a professional does it? And who would that be, in that case?

The work for me (6 meters) was 9200 after ROT but they also regrouted everything over the ridge, fixed some loose stones, installed weather protection, and installed a fireplace. In my case, according to the quote, I was supposed to install an insert pipe, but since the chimney was bent, it wasn't possible to get a pipe down, so they did slip-casting instead and the total price was the same.
