Hello, I'm planning to build a small lumber yard at the summer cottage where I can store timber during/after projects as I do not want to place them under the houses on blocks.

So now I am grateful for advice on how I can build this easily, strong and cheap.

You can see the conditions in the picture. I want to build this between 2 sheds and utilize the "gap". The gap between the houses is just over a meter.

My thought is that maybe you should attach load-bearing beams to the existing house, put standing studs, and then horizontal ones on these, then frame it so it becomes like an H.

But what dimensions of studs do you think are needed, and should you use pressure-treated wood since most of it is not under a roof? (I was thinking that maybe you fasten a tarp as a roof/wall...)

I would appreciate input on how you would solve this.

Thanks in advance

(comments about my otherwise scrap edition are not welcome) Gap between two sheds with red and grey walls, stacked concrete slabs, a metal bin, and a wheelbarrow, surrounded by scattered leaves and debris. Outdoor area between two sheds with stacked concrete slabs, a metal mesh frame, and leaves on the ground, intended for building a storage space for timber.
