Hello,

We have moisture problems and need to replace the base plates and ventilate the slab, BUT the question is how do we access under the newly renovated bathroom!

We can access the walls and base plates around the bathroom, i.e., from the opposite side of the bathroom, but we cannot access UNDER the bathroom. (we want to avoid this as it is newly renovated)

The construction (generally described) of the bathroom is as follows, from the bottom:
Concrete slab --> 120mm Joists high with about 1cm distance to the slab underneath --> Particle board
(the joists rest on the base plates).

- Does anyone know if the slab under this bathroom can be ventilated and solved from outside the bathroom? For example, accessing from the sides when replacing the base plates on the sides anyway?

Won't it be very difficult to ventilate a slab that cannot be accessed from the middle of the room itself?

*Companies, solutions appreciated. I have only checked Nivell so far, and in my amateur opinion, it seems difficult to install their system from the outside of a room to ventilate that room's slab. This is based solely on watching their installation video available here: https://monteringsanvisning.nivellsystem.se/ventilerade-golv/

Tried to make a picture in paint :)

Who renovated the bathroom? How do you know that something underneath needs to be replaced?
