Huntonit ceiling panel in bathroom.

Planning to install a huntonit ceiling in a bathroom and I'm wondering if the ceiling should be set 5-10mm from the wall so it can move, just like when laying flooring?

Nope, it still can't move significantly when it's screwed.

Follow the assembly instructions. It states that you should leave 10 mm.

In small rooms, you can probably skimp a little if you want, but in a wet room, I think that's a bad idea.

When fastening the ceiling panels, what do you do with the row of screws against the wall; is it intended that the tiles will cover that row?

There, you should glue polystyrene moldings that look like plaster and can be found at places like BAUHAUS or Hornbach in 2m lengths. Keep in mind that they should be painted.

If it's not too late, put the roof on first, then you can screw/slide without it showing. Then the boards and tiles cover the nail holes/screw holes.

It's down in the basement and the walls are plastered now, we'll see how much of the tiles cover. We'll have to add moldings if it's not enough. Thanks for the info! /PG

If you nail with a small dyckert and dab a little paint, it will hardly show if the tile doesn't cover.
