What is the name of the tongue-and-groove panel that looks ax-cut on the surface? Is it expensive per meter? Would it look silly to have a wall like that in a hallway? I haven't found any pictures of such walls online....

It's called a bilad panel and is manufactured, among others, by Moelven. The price is around 30-40kr per meter for one that is 195x28mm. I think it can look really nice in the right hall. I also often make "fake" ceiling beams from this panel and it gives a really rustic impression.

it probably looks good if it's that type of cabin/house installed throughout the summer cottage internally, it certainly creates a solid mountain cabin feel. 22x170 approx 30:- lpm (manufacturer hälleforsnäs sågverk)
