Hi,
(I originally posted the following under Ventilation, but since I haven't received a response there, I'm trying here instead).
In another thread, I write about my renovation, where I'm building a new lecablock wall inside the existing timber-framed wall:

In the room inside the lecablock wall, I will have it open up to the ridge. I've been thinking of installing a ventilation duct through the walls (2. in the picture) to ventilate the room since it's an older house with natural ventilation otherwise.
Am I right in thinking of having ventilation there?
On warm days, would you then want a fan in the duct to extract warm air?
Best regards,
Mats
