Hello!
I am completely renovating a villa and, among other things, installing a new vapor barrier on the outer walls.
I will put drywall on the existing tongue-and-groove panel that serves as the ceiling. However, there are quite a few holes in the panel where electrical conduits have come down. It seems they cut 100mm holes to get a cable conduit down.
Now I'm wondering how best to seal these holes.
Is it just a matter of doing the dirty work, going up in the attic, and removing insulation in order to tape with green tape?
How important is it to make sure no hole is left untaped?
The house was built in '79.
