How to seal basement walls externally?
I will seal my basement wall externally and need some tips.. The material in the wall is lecablock and I plan to put pordrän on the basement wall before I fill it with drainage material.
In the past, people used tar, but that's not used anymore, right?? It did create a tight wall as I understand, but it will not breathe.

Leccamurar (like all other walls made of block) should be plastered on both sides to become airtight. Properly executed external insulation + drainage requires no additional sealing. Old-fashioned hot asphalt was actually misguided. It still worked reasonably well when the temperature in the cellar was low.
You should not have a dense wall in combination with porodrän. It will be completely wrong.
