How to screw glulam post into the slab?

We are in the process of building a sunroom, and we have a 10-meter long glass section with two columns in between.
These columns have been in place for a long time, and they support the tile roof that covers the house, etc.
The columns measure 140 x 220 mm.
Those who installed the glass sections suggested using 1 piece of 10 x 140 coach screw diagonally down into the slab from each column.
Right now they're "loosely" in place and partially stand on a masonry leca wall, but mainly they stand on a substantial footing in the cast slab.
For example, I have no idea whether it matters which direction I screw from. It should be diagonal down, I assume we can't get away from that, but from the inside, outside, or from some side.

How would you secure the column?

I don’t really understand whether you are supposed to screw into leca or concrete, but regardless, I would angle screw with concrete screws if it is concrete. If it's leca, I probably wouldn't trust the lecablocks and just angle screw into them; instead, I would probably use some form of angle iron. A standard construction bracket/angle iron if I can hide it behind some side profile for the sliding sections; otherwise, I would have made custom brackets if they are going to be visible.
What is it supposed to look like when it's finished?
It should be screwed down into the concrete. The columns partially rest on the wall, but they should reasonably be fastened down in the footing.

The columns will be clad, both inside and outside, so it won't be visible that they are made of glulam. There is also 45x70 screwed on the outside of the columns, on each corner where panels/trim will be placed. So the fastening will be between these.
The columns are moved in about 45mm from the outside, otherwise, one could have screwed iron that extends down on the outside of the wall, but that's not an option.
Angle irons could be placed on the outside, but then they would be screwed into leca. On the inside, it probably won't work well as it would be difficult to conceal them.
Then there will be a sun deck outside all of this.

Interesting. You don't use plugs for that, do you? You predrill with the same size as the drill bit's diameter (?) and then just screw in? Would you put one screw per post or several?
I find it very difficult to use any kind of common sense when it comes to assembly, as I don't really understand what potential loads the screw is meant to stop. Is it for when a crazy hurricane comes one year and pulls at the pillar that you do this?
I could drive a screw from the inside and one from the outside. Or I'll just take a longer one from the outside.
It feels a bit better to have it screwed down, even if it feels like no force in the world would be able to move it—it was quite a project to move it with a sledgehammer, even before the bricks were on.

No plugs....and yes you drill with a drill bit that has the same diameter as the drill😄. But I get what you mean....no, you don't drill the same size as the screw, if the screw is 7.5mm then you drill 6mm but you should follow what's on the package for the screw. A tip is that when you drill, move the drill in and out so that all the drilled dust comes out of the hole, then use a good bit and a really strong drill driver and apply pressure on the screw! It bites well into concrete. If you can't get the screw in, back out the screw, drill out even more drilled dust, and take a fresh new screw and try again.
