I have a clogged frame in the concrete wall that currently consists of a particle board, see the figure. What has happened is that there have been some cracks, mainly because the particle board is a bit loose I think. I will of course screw it properly to the frame, but what should I apply to make it as good as possible?
putty ->Painter's tape->putty (that's how it was repaired currently...)
there is no time to tear out the frame completely, so that's not an option even if it might be best to build up a new wall...
The way it's done, it will always crack. The best thing right now is to put plaster over the entire wall. But to get it decent, sand it out and use paper tape instead of fiberglass, and then put proper microlit over the entire wall.
Okay sentence yes now do not want to set the upper hand on the wall...what to do then?? Regular spackle first, then paper tape and then spackle again? A small crack after 5 years, which is still the repainting interval, so I can live with that.
